About

I am entering my 11th year of teaching!  Class I have this year include 3 sections of 8th graders, College Calculus, and College Algebra.  I don’t think I have ever been as excited as I am for this year of teaching with all of the things I am looking to change this year.  Some teachers are content to do the same things over and over again.  I want to learn and try new things (biggest being SBG!) and this is my way of chronicling those things!  My motto – never stop learning!

You teach in Luverne, MN? As I am anticipating PI day next week for my first year of teaching, I came across the PI day conference on Global Math and was blown away by the fact that you were from southwest MN. I am originally from Hills, MN!! Anyway, I had to share that and wanted to thank you for sharing your ideas!

Jill- yep, I teach and live in Luverne. Very cool that you are from Hills. Was just there a few weekends ago for my sons middle school basketball game. Where do you teach? Good luck with pi day – very fun day!

You are welcome. My twitter is @beckyrahm but I haven’t been on it this year much (or posted on the blog if you can tell). Have some medical things going on but should be better by summer and can’t wait to get back into the swing of things with all of that. Enjoy the rest of your year.
